SAD
NEWS
Most of the time our newsletter is filled with good news about special
coffees, roasting information, or coming events. Well, today we have a
bit of sad newsour first store built inside a supermarket was destroyed
by fire on Saturday afternoon, February 28. No one was injured, but McCaffrey's
Supermarket in our hometown of Yardley, succumbed to a brush fire outside
of the building, which later ignited into the ceiling.
The good news is we are re-opening our corporate headquarters holiday
store (located only 2 miles from McCaffrey's) on Friday, March 12 for
everyone who shopped at McCaffrey's and residents of the surrounding area.
Hours will be 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, Saturday 9-3.
MCDONALD'S
CORPORATION
We are pleased to announce our partnership with McDonald's! Yes, that's
right the same McDonald's restaurant chain that features a Big
Mac and fries. One year ago, executives from McDonald's in Philadelphia
approached us about placing our brand inside their restaurants as part
of their new re-imaging program. Seems like a "stretch", since
only the McDonald's brand (and Coca Cola) normally appear on their menu.
Well, now customers of the McDonald's restaurant in Marlton, New Jersey
can purchase our full menu of beverages-brewed coffee, espresso-based
drinks, hot chocolate, and frozen Mocha Crush as Bucks County Coffee
Company brand. The next store to open will be Cape May Court House, New
Jersey! We are delighted to be in a partnership with such a great company!
NEW
COFFEEHOUSE OPENINGS
We recently opened new coffeehouses in:
English Village Shopping Center, North Wales, PA
University of Pennsylvania Campus, 40th and Locust Streets, Philadelphia,
PA
As part of our growth plans, the next new stores will be located inside
Liberty Place office building, Philadelphia, and Mercer Hospital, Trenton,
NJ. We now operate 43 stores.
